I’m a storyteller based in Washington D.C. and New York City

I’m a self-taught photographer who used to cook and pour wine in Californina for a living. Though I was thriving in and loved/still love the culinary business, creative burnout and constant thoughts (doubt and confusion) about my future became more frequent and I needed a creative outlet to take my mind off the business. I’m naturally an observant person with an appreciation for art so photography became my means of escape. In 2018 what originally was my escape quickly became my favorite way to experience/embrace the world.

Photography has provided me the oppurtunity to do the things I love. Meet new people, stay out of my comfort zone, document life, experience new places, and provide a means to communicate all of this through art. Nature, cinema, museums, and books are some of my favorite teachers of art and perspective. I always seek to use these as inspiration to capture and tell your story.
